The Frisa is a typical product of Salento, historically it began as a long-life food to be consumed at the end of the stocks of bread or "snack" of the peasants, wet with wine or with oil and rubbed with tomato. It is presented as a sort of round wafer, with a central hole, and crushed biscuit. The Frisa, is recommended in the diet of every day, even for young children, and diets based on easily digestible foods. Excellent to enjoy with legumes such as lentils and a thread of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
